This book contains translations of 20 out of 112 judgments delivered by the European Court of Human Rights from 2016 to 2021 in cases against Ukraine concerning violations of prisoners’ rights under Articles 2, 3 and 8 of the European Convention. It publishes exclusively those judgments that have not been previously published by the ‘Prava Ludyny’ publishing house. An additional selection criterion was the presence of new legal positions of the European Court and the assessment of specific facts of the case that are not typical for judgments in ‘clone’ cases, where there is already an established case-law of the European Court.
